Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

OUDIVORA ("we", "us", "our") operates the online store at oudivora.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

Information we collect

  • Contact and order details — name, email address, delivery address, billing address, order history.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment providers. OUDIVORA does not receive or store your full card number.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your login details and saved preferences.
  • Communications — the content of emails and messages you send us.
  • Technical and usage information — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you interact with the site. Collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have consented to marketing.

Shopify's role

This store is hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify processes personal information on our behalf to provide the store, and also processes some information for its own purposes in operating its platform. Information you submit is transmitted to and stored by Shopify, which may involve transfers outside the UK.

Shopify's own privacy information: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/customers

Who else we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We do share it where necessary:

  • Shopify — hosting, order management, storefront
  • Payment providers — to take and verify payment, and prevent fraud
  • Delivery carriers — name and delivery address, so your order can be delivered
  • Email provider — to send order confirmations and, where you have consented, marketing
  • Professional advisers — accountant or legal adviser, where required
  • Authorities — where we are legally obliged to disclose

Each of these processes information under contract and only for the purposes we specify.

We cannot claim that we never share your information. Running an online shop necessarily involves the providers above.

Apps and additional services

At the date of this policy, OUDIVORA has no third-party apps installed beyond Shopify's own core functionality. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the store to work — keeping your basket and session. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used, where you have consented.

You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner and through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the store working.

Marketing

We only send marketing emails where you have consented. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations.

How long we keep information

  • Order and transaction records — retained as required by UK tax law, currently at least six years from the end of the relevant accounting period.
  • Account information — while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Marketing consent records — until you withdraw consent, plus a record of the withdrawal.
  • Support correspondence — normally up to two years.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access your information; have inaccurate information corrected; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing, including for direct marketing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these, email support@oudivora.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

International transfers

Some providers, including Shopify, may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy regulations.

Children

The store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
